Get your own Credit Card

Posted by: admin on September 30th, 2007

Many transactions today are done mostly through credit cards. May it be online purchasing or also for travel purposes. There are some cases when some people treat credit card as a venereal disease. But in my case I treat is as my savior and a friend. Sometimes other people even blame the credit card company as the bad guy, which is completely wrong. It’s just that, for those who wanted to get a credit card they have to bear this in mind: You should be a responsible credit card holder. You must know your financial responsibilities! Visiting my Aunt Betty

Posted by: admin on September 29th, 2007

I’ll be visiting Adelaide by the end of October to visit my Aunt Betty. She has been in Adelaide for about 10 years now and she is married with a guy from Perth. I’ve heard a lot of great stories about the place. It is a nice place to stay whether you want to party or relax. It has spacious boulevards and vibrant inner-city districts, sophisticated architecture and lush gardens. There are also a lot of activities that can be done in Adelaide such as skydiving, 4 wheel driving, paintball, hiking, sailing, bass fishing. Right now i am staying in an exclusive Sydney Accommodation but by early next month i’ll start looking for Adelaide Hotels to get ready for my visit to my Aunt’s place then book for Perth hotels at the end of October to get ready for my next stop which is Perth.

Inks, Toners and Cartridges

Posted by: admin on September 29th, 2007

Running out of ink or getting your inkjet cartridge is quite a hassle especially if you are printing stuff that needs to be submitted or if someone sends you an important fax message then all of a sudden your fax machine won’t print since you don’t have toner left. And what’s more hassle is going to the ink store and to buy some ink which really can waste your precious time. Luckily there are these sites over the web which offers these products and shows a list of the ink and toner prices for all types of printers, copier, multifunction or fax machines. Payments can be made through credit cards and even Paypal. Most of them ship through  UPS and ground delivery! So next time, before you even run out of ink, just place your orders over the web and have those ink, cartridges and toners delivered at your doorstep!

on getting a life insurance

Posted by: admin on September 28th, 2007

Life is short so we must live life to the fullest and get prepared to whatever may happen. But how about our loved ones? Of course all we want is what’s best for them. But what will happen if we’re gone?! So one of the best solutions for this is getting a life insurance. Some people don’t really like to avail of a life insurance since they don’t really feel comfortable with it and they think that it’s preparing for death. But in my opinion, if you really love your family, then one good thing to do is to prepare for their future, protect them from dangers and difficulties in life. You can either choose from two types of life insurance plans. First is Permanent life insurance and the other one is Term Life insurance. So in getting a plan you should consider the financial strength rating of the company to avoid any complications and plan forfeitures.

New York school of Fashion Design

Posted by: admin on September 28th, 2007

My sister is pretty much into Fashion and Design. She just finished college with a course of Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering. Right now she decided to step up in the field of fashion and she’s looking for a good school in New York that offers short courses on Fashion design. She really wants to develop her knowledge in this field because it’s what she really loves. I told her to check out this site: http://www.gibbsny.edu/. This is Katharine Gibbs School in New York. I just saw that the school offers a great program.

They provide training in creative and technical design, marketing and merchandising. They also give students the opportunities to stage fashion shows which I’m sure my sister will really love. The good thing here is that the program completes in as few as 18 months and it gets you to work with professionals in well known and established fashion companies. I advised her to push herself to the limits and use her talent to gain respect and recognition in her chosen field.

I think I’ll go to Boston

Posted by: admin on September 28th, 2007

Boston is one of the nicest place to visit in the US. It is known as the Athens of America but the city’s 19th century glory radiates through its grand architecture, its population of literati, artists and educators and. Boston is well known for its world-renowned academic and cultural institutions such as Harvard Univeristy, MIT and Gibbs college of Boston. My friend is actually a graduate of Gibbs in Boston. He said that the school actually offers courses in business, finance, technology, graphic arts, and media which are listed on their site on their website at http://www.gibbsboston.edu.

Boston is actually nice place to stay whether you are just there to travel or to pursue your course. It boast its best preserved historic buildings and neighborhoods in the US. It is compact, historic, clean and has a touch of modern convenience as well. The best time to visit Boston is June and September. Everything’s open, prices are inexpensive. Days are warm and nights are cool.

team t-shirt

Posted by: admin on September 28th, 2007

Our company will be having our annual team building this coming October. I will be assigned to some preparations that we need for the said event. We have to find a venue, games, foods, transportation and many more to consider in this event. One of our plans is that our team will be in uniform when that day comes. I assigned my colleague to give me some sample logos that would define our group. What i mean is that when you see that logo or image, what you will remember is the team. So my colleague gave me 3 samples and we introduce it to our boss and he chose one. Now that we have the logo, we are looking for the color of the T-shirts that we will be using and will represent each team.

This custom T-shirts will now serve as our uniform and likewise as our souvenir for our team event. We were looking for shops at the mall where we can request for this kind of shirts or if not, we will do it by ourselves by the use of shirt screen printing which will only take a few days for us to finish. I am still checking for more design online and considering to get some hats as a souvenir if my boss and our budget will allow. But for now, i have to look for the venue which is the most important thing i have to do for this project.

Finding a new job

Posted by: admin on September 28th, 2007

Nowadays, finding jobs became easier and more convenient. Before, you’ll have to read each and every lines and pages of newspapers. You’ll have to read bulletin boards, billboards, and announcements. But now, everything is just a click away. You’ll just have to type the keyword or phrase of any kind of job you’re looking for. Then it just pops out on your screen in a matter of few seconds. People just keep on finding ways on how to make our lives more convenient.

My friend Paul is a new graduate and he was looking for jobs over the web. The problem is there are a lot of job sites showing garbage. Meaning most jobs listed are spam and bogus job listings. Although in the end he found one good site which shows relevant and clean job search. It is named Insourced.com. The good thing about it is it’s free and it only gives legitimate job listings and you can sort them in different ways. The site eliminates bad jobs and spam. Here you’ll also be able to vote out anything you don’t like and contact them immediately for spam or bogus jobs. He just seems all excited and ready to report to work on the 4th of October.

Free your mind…

Posted by: admin on September 28th, 2007

Too much work at times is really stressful. And stress in turn causes us to look older and older each day. I always keep on finding ways to relieve stress. When I’m home at times, I listen to classical music to relax. Sometimes I take a couple of beers while gazing at the city skyline from my condo window. I also have this new discovery! The Volcano vaporizers! I use them for aromatherapy to make myself feel rejuvenated.

Sometimes I also visit the spa and have a contrast bath. By the way a contrast bath is done by doing steam bath for about 10 minutes and then jumping into an ice cold tub and staying there for around 30minutes. They say that this helps you strengthen your immune system and get used to all kinds of weather! After which I also delight myself with a very relaxing Swedish massage. It hurts a bit but the pain is tolerable and really softens and relaxes your muscles. I love it specially the part where the head and scalp is being massaged. It just feels that all problems and worries are taken all away!

The best way to get known

Posted by: admin on September 28th, 2007

Branding is essential in any company, product or service to gain recognition. People recognize a product or service through the influence of advertising, design, and media commentary. May it be through any type of media which includes paper, radio, tv and the internet. A brand often includes a logo, fonts, color schemes, symbols, and even sound, which may be developed to represent ideas. For these kind of needs you would be a branding company which can help you in marketing your services and products. One of which is Brandidentityguru.com, which offers Boston Web Design services. They offer services such as marketing, branding, search engine optimization and graphic & logo design.

If you visit their website you’ll see that they have this free website evaluation tool which is great for newbies since you’ll be able to have a glimpse of what they have to offer. They have a great portfolio of work which really impressed me. They have these web 2.0 logos which are pretty much recognizable and brandable. I also like the way their website is presented. They site is made in flash but they also have an option for users to view the site in plain html. I even tried to do a search in Google for the word branding and they came fourth in the list. Perhaps, that’s one great sign that this company has all the tools to get your company on track and market your products and services more than the way you want it to be!
