Posted by: admin on August 17th, 2011

In a week, we’ll be traveling to Las Vegas. I’m quite new to the place and for sure it will be a difficult driving task for me. It is really quite difficult to drive in a place that you’re not familiar with. Good this I was able to borrow my brother’s dezl 560LT which is a GPS device. It is actually designed for the trucking industry but nevertheless, it could do the job for me.

Electronic Stealing

Posted by: admin on February 4th, 2011

Last night I’ve heard on the news that there are a lot of cases of electronic pickpocketing. Credit card information have been stolen electronically. This is kinda scary since I’ve got 2 credit cards and I don’t want my credit card info stolen. So I did some research on how to prevent it. There I found out that there are these rfid blocking wallets which are sold online. I’m planning to have one as soon as possible since this electronic pickpocketing makes me feel nervous while walking on the streets.

Posted by: admin on July 27th, 2008

In line with the design of our home, the next thing we are now into is the layout of switches and cables. We don’t really want any chords showing up or lying in the under the ceiling. We want everything to be in place. I’ m also looking for an HDMI switch which is an audio/video connector for our PC and digital audio devices. Once we got this, then everything will be all set for our new renovated home!

My good old laptop

Posted by: admin on July 2nd, 2008

My good old dell laptop has just crashed. After 4 years of it existence I think it finally gave up! Actually, that’s pretty acceptable. 4 years is quite a time for a laptop to work. And i understand that some parts really get worn out in time. When i was working on my notebook a couple of nights ago, it just crashed and went into a blue screen telling “Dump of Physical Memory”. I knew it that it’s the laptops memory which has a problem so I ordered a new dell memory over the web through my other desktop PC. I just saw that memory prices really dropped considering their speed. It’s definitely a good news for those who would want to upgrade or add new memory pieces!

College Electronics

Posted by: admin on March 10th, 2008

When we were in college, we had a project on embedded computer and net cards. It was really one of the subjects which I’ve been interested with. This has been a part of our curriculum and we had to make a prototype of it. Unlike any other computer programming classes and lectures, it’s one that caught my attention and interest. Getting your hands dirty on electronic stuff and circuit boards is really one exciting and interesting task! By the way, this embedded computer is a system which does a few dedicated functions and it is mostly used for industrial computing. These stuff are usually embedded as part of a complete device including hardware and mechanical parts. What we also don’t know is that these are mostly used on most devices that we use. So learning about this stuff really amazed me. I might just be able to make my own version of the most hi tech gadgets and equipment out in the market.

Some of it’s features are: fax server to www.axacore.com, VoIP Fax to www.axacore.com and Fax broadcast to www.axacore.com. You can also use it with Outlook, standard email clients and other software for fax. One of its advantages is that it makes faxing cheaper especially if you often fax long distance or overseas.

the dreaded spyware!

Posted by: admin on December 31st, 2007

Spyware has always been one of those viruses which I really hate. It slows down your pc, it shows different popups, sometimes your pc would even frequently crash because of the dreaded spyware! My pc and browser settings have also changed and I can’t change them back to the way they were. Upon some researches, I’ve learned that Spyware is a software that is capable of performing certain operations on your computer without your consent it displays advertisements, it collects your personal information through your computer. The last time my pc was infected with this virus, I have tried installing several antivirus softwares but nothing could solve the problem so I had to reformat my pc then bingo! The virus is gone!

Most probably the virus has already been embedded on my system files so the anti virus softwares could hardly remove the virus! Perhaps the best thing to do is take all necessary precautions so your pc won’t get infected with the dreaded spyware! Refrain from downloading unknown programs and be sure to install reputable anti spyware softwares.

I just bought a new bossanova CD and from Tower One yesterday. I really love the music and it soothes my ears and gives me that relaxing and nice feeling. I am actually planning to compress all my music and turn them into an ultimate bossanova MP3 collection so I could play it on my pc and also in my car. I am looking for an audio converter which can convert audio cd to mp3. Good thing is I found this software Total Audio Converter which does the job! And not only that, unlike other converters out in the market it can convert hundreds of files in just a matter of few seconds. It supports formats such as WAV, MP3, OGG, WMA, APE, FLAC, MP4, AAC, MPC. It’s got a trial pack and tech support for for all users even for those who are using the trial version.

Wireless Interference Can Hinder Productivity

Posted by: admin on November 15th, 2007

Small businesses often find themselves in need of assistance when it comes to their computer networks. A Denver computer consultant who can come onsite and provide professional computer help is the perfect solution.
Businesses depend on their network to operate properly, when wireless interference disrupts your work it can be really frustrating, not to mention hinder your productivity. Simple items such as you or your neighbor’s cordless phone or microwave can cause interference, but in some cases it is a little more complicated than that and having the proper equipment and knowledge can help you to analyze where the problem is coming from.
A quick and effective solution is to call a professional computer technician and have them evaluate your wireless network and connections. If your business is in or around the Denver area, I would recommend calling the Denver computer consulting specialists at J.P. Schwartz, Inc. for all your computer needs. (303)482-1242
